  • The Valley Run HOA budget is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the front entrance and playground areas; neighborhood events such as the annual picnic and ice cream social; and fees associated with professional services such as book keeping, legal consultation, and insurance.

When are HOA meetings and can I attend? 

  • All Valley Run HOA members are invited. The HOA meets annually in January. This meeting is generally held in a large gathering area nearby such as at the Durham library or a restaurant. During this meeting the annual budget is reviewed, the HOA board is elected, and neighborhood business is addressed. 

When is the next HOA event? 

  • The Valley Run HOA hosts multiple events open to all Valley Run neighbors. Check the Facebook group and keep an eye on announcements from the listserv and home page for updates. 

How much are Valley Run HOA dues? 

  • Dues are now $65 per year. They are due by the end of January each year. A $5 late fee will be incurred on dues that are not paid by July 1. To pay your dues please make checks payable to "Valley Run HOA." You can pay via mail to: Valley Run HOA, PO Box 52481, Durham, NC 27717

What do I do if I have a concern about the neighborhood?

  • If you have a concern about trash pickup, debris, a broken streetlamp, utilities, or other city issues please contact the City of Durham One Call at 919-560-1200. 
  • If you have a concern about suspicious activity, general safety, or to report a crime please contact emergency services immediately by calling 911. If you feel it is not an emergency but you would still like to speak to an official please call the Durham Police Non-Emergency number at 919-560-4600.

How do I pay my Valley Run HOA dues? 

  • Valley Run HOA dues must be submitted no later than January 31st each year. To pay your dues please make checks payable to "Valley Run HOA".
